Strengthen Pharmacy Safety and Efficiency

The Ontario College of Pharmacists is committed to continuous quality improvement (CQI) by requiring all community pharmacies in Ontario to report medication incidents and good catches — essential steps to protect patient safety and improve care outcomes.

As an OCP member, you have access to Pharmapod, a platform to simplify and standardize incident and good catch reporting.

By consistently logging medication incidents and good catches in Pharmapod, your pharmacy can identify trends, optimize workflows, and reduce the risk of future errors.

What to Report:

  • Medication incidents: Preventable events that reach a patient and may cause harm.
  • Good catches: Errors intercepted before reaching the patient.

Pharmapod also enables your pharmacy to complete a Pharmacy Safety Self-Assessment (PSSA), a mandatory requirement under the AIMS Program to support ongoing quality improvement.

Log in to Pharmapod today to ensure compliance and enhance patient safety.
